One of our first elk hunting clients tagged this bull in 2010 on a new ranch we got in 2006. This private elk hunting ranch wasn't hunted for several years for elk until we booked our first elk hunter in 2010. The ranch now holds one of the largest elk herds in the state throughout the season. The ranch is fairly open country but has a ton of elk on it during the archery and rifle season here in Montana.
